Ahad Sheykhlari

Ahad Sheykhlari ((ペルシア語: احد شیخ‌لاری ), born 18 April 1960 in Tabriz, Iran) is a retired Iranian professional football player and manager. He played all of his professional career for Tractor Sazi. He also plays for Iran national under-20 football team and Iran national football team and has 20 national caps with four goals. Tractor Sazi's fans named him as ''Tabriz's Maradona'' due to his aggressive technique, speed and scoring, and he kicks the specific skills.〔(Sheykhlari biography )〕
After ending his playing career, he became a coach, started with his native club, Tractor Sazi which he was the club's assistant coach for two years and caretaker manager from 2002 to 2003. He later became manager of Shahid Ghandi and led the club to promotion to the Iran Pro League for the first time. He later managed another Tabriz based clubs, Machine Sazi and Shahrdari Tabriz. In July 2007, he returned to Tractor Sazi as manager but failed to promote team to the first division and he left the club at the end of the season. He was head coach of Mes Soongoun for four years which he took from the 3rd Division to the Azadegan League. He is also the first Iranian coach to do this.
